Grand Event Showcasing Cinema and Film Locations at Global Destinations Expo and Conference 2023
Noida: The second edition of the highly anticipated Global Destinations Expo and Conference (GDEC) is set to take place from 21st to 23rd July 2023 at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. GDEC, organized by iCONEX, will once again bring together esteemed industry professionals, influential film production houses, and renowned wedding planners from across the globe, with a focus on cinema and film locations informed Subhash Goyal Chairperson of the Expo.
Building on the tremendous success of the inaugural event held at Hotel JW Marriott in July 2022, GDEC aims to create a unique platform for buyers and sellers in the cinema and film industry. The conference will feature the participation of more than 100 prominent wedding planners and significant film production houses from countries such as the USA, Italy, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Turkey. Joining them will be 350 Indian delegates, including top wedding planners, film production houses, and destination management companies, collectively highlighting the potential of wedding destinations and film locations.
India, known for its prolific film industry, produces more movies than any other country and has witnessed a substantial increase in international film shoots over the past five years, with 40% of Indian films being shot outside the country.
