Dr. Sandeep Marwah Inaugurates Seminar on Women Empowerment and Launches Her Story Her Power at IIC. New Delhi: A thought-provoking seminar on Women Empowerment coupled with the launch of the inspiring book “Her Story Her Power” was held at the prestigious India International Centre, New Delhi, bringing together eminent personalities, authors, social activists, and professionals committed to promoting gender equality and women’s leadership.
The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Noida Film City, President of Marwah Studios, and President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), who also formally launched the book “Her Story Her Power.” Published by Siddhant Bharti of Rahi Publishers, the book chronicles the remarkable journeys of 50 extraordinary women, celebrating their resilience, determination, achievements, and inspiring contributions to society.
While addressing the large audience, Dr. Sandeep Marwah stressed the importance of recognising and empowering women through education, leadership, media, and cultural initiatives.
“Women are the pillars of every progressive society. Their achievements deserve to be celebrated, documented, and shared with future generations. Through platforms like the International Women’s Film Forum, we have consistently promoted women’s participation and leadership in cinema, media, art, and culture across the globe. We have also instituted the prestigious Dr. Sarojini Naidu International Award for Working Women to honour exceptional women who have made significant contributions in their respective fields. Empowering women is not just a social responsibility but a prerequisite for sustainable development,” said Dr. Marwah.
He further congratulated Siddhant Bharti and the entire team of Rahi Publishers for bringing together such an inspiring collection of stories that will motivate readers and encourage women to pursue their dreams with confidence and determination.
The event witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of distinguished guests, authors, educators, professionals, and students, all of whom appreciated the initiative to document and celebrate the inspiring achievements of women from diverse walks of life.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Sushil Bharti, who expressed gratitude to the chief guest, distinguished speakers, contributors, organisers, and the audience for making the seminar and book launch a memorable and meaningful occasion dedicated to the spirit of women’s empowerment.
