New Delhi, August 15, 2026: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media & Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), extended his warm greetings and heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Raymond Serge Bale, Ambassador of the Republic of Congo, and the people of Congo on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Congo.

“On behalf of ICMEI and the people of India, I extend my warmest greetings to H.E. Raymond Serge Bale and the people of the Republic of Congo on this important national occasion. May the Republic of Congo continue to achieve peace, prosperity, and progress, and may the friendship between India and Congo grow stronger,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Dr. Marwah also announced that the Indo-Congo Film and Cultural Forum of ICMEI is proposed to be launched shortly, with the objective of creating a meaningful platform for strengthening relations between India and the Republic of Congo through cinema, art, culture, education, media, and creative industries.

“We are keen to promote stronger relations and greater business opportunities between India and the Republic of Congo through art and culture. Cinema, media, and the creative economy can play a significant role in bringing people and nations closer and in creating new avenues for collaboration,” Dr. Marwah said.

He expressed confidence that the proposed Indo-Congo Film and Cultural Forum would become an important platform for cultural exchange, professional networking, and business cooperation, contributing to closer people-to-people relations between the two countries.

Dr. Marwah reiterated ICMEI’s commitment to using art, culture, media, and entertainment as powerful instruments of international friendship, cooperation, and economic development.
