Sandeep Marwah Congratulates Ambassador of DPR Korea and People on National Liberation Day New Delhi, August 15, 2026: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media & Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), extended his warm greetings and heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Choe Hui Chol, Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPR Korea), and the people of DPR Korea on the occasion of National Liberation Day of Korea.

“On behalf of ICMEI and the people of India, I extend my warmest greetings to H.E. Choe Hui Chol and the people of DPR Korea on the auspicious occasion of National Liberation Day. May the bonds of friendship, mutual understanding, and cultural cooperation between India and DPR Korea continue to grow,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Dr. Marwah highlighted the positive work being carried out by the Indo-DPR Korea Film and Cultural Forum of ICMEI, which serves as a platform for promoting people-to-people relations and cultural interaction between India and DPR Korea through cinema, art, culture, media, and creative exchanges.

“Art and culture have the power to connect people beyond geographical boundaries. The Indo-DPR Korea Film and Cultural Forum is doing well and is committed to further strengthening cultural understanding and friendship between the two nations,” Dr. Marwah added.

He expressed confidence that increased cooperation in cinema, media, education, art, and cultural activities would open new avenues for meaningful engagement and contribute to stronger India–DPR Korea relations.

Dr. Marwah reiterated ICMEI’s commitment to promoting love, peace, unity, friendship, and international cooperation through art and culture.
