Dr Sandeep Marwah Congratulates Ukraine on Independence Day New Delhi: Dr Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and Chair for the Indo Ukraine Film and Cultural Forum, extended his warm greetings and best wishes to H.E. Dr. Oleksandr Polishchuk, Ambassador of Ukraine to India, and the people of Ukraine on the occasion of Ukraine Independence Day, celebrated on 24 August.

“On behalf of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and the Indo Ukraine Film and Cultural Forum, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to H.E. Dr. Oleksandr Polishchuk and the people of Ukraine on their Independence Day. May the people of Ukraine continue to remain strong and united, and may the country witness peace, stability, prosperity and progress,” said Dr Sandeep Marwah.

Dr Marwah highlighted the importance of strengthening the longstanding friendship and understanding between India and Ukraine through cultural and people-to-people exchanges. He said that art, cinema, education, literature and media can serve as powerful instruments of cultural diplomacy and contribute significantly towards bringing the people of both nations closer.

“India and Ukraine have rich cultural traditions and enormous creative potential. The Indo Ukraine Film and Cultural Forum is committed to promoting greater interaction between filmmakers, artists, students, educators and creative professionals of the two countries. Cinema and culture can build bridges of friendship, understanding and cooperation,” Dr Marwah added.

Dr Marwah expressed his confidence that cultural cooperation between India and Ukraine would continue to create meaningful opportunities for collaboration and mutual exchange in the fields of film, television, digital media, art, education and entertainment. He reaffirmed the commitment of ICMEI and the Indo Ukraine Film and Cultural Forum to strengthening India-Ukraine relations through cultural diplomacy and creative cooperation.

Dr Sandeep Marwah conveyed his sincere wishes for the peace, prosperity, unity and progress of Ukraine and its people. “May the friendship between India and Ukraine grow stronger, and may peace and prosperity prevail for the people of Ukraine.”
