

Moroccan Diplomat Walid Hasbi Honoured at the 19th Global Film Festival Noida 2026 Noida, India. Mr. Walid Hasbi, Counsellor at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco, was formally presented with the Festival Memento by Dr. L. Murugan. Union Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India, during the 19th Global Film Festival Noida 2026 at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida.
The presentation celebrated international friendship and highlighted the importance of cultural engagement between India and Morocco. Mr. Hasbi’s participation brought a valued diplomatic presence to the festival, which provided a platform for dialogue among filmmakers, educators, artists and representatives of different nations.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the Indo–Morocco Film and Cultural Forum, welcomed the occasion as an opportunity to strengthen creative connections between the two countries.

India and Morocco possess rich cultural traditions that offer tremendous scope for collaboration through cinema, art, media and education. The occasion reinforced the festival’s commitment to cultural diplomacy and Dr. Marwah’s guiding message of “Love, Peace and Unity Through Art and Culture.” It also underlined the potential of film festivals to inspire closer international cooperation through shared creative experiences.
