
New Delhi: In the National meeting of the members of the Managing Committee of CEGR- Centre For Education Growth and Research Dr. Sandeep Marwah the Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts Raipur and now National Chairman for Media and Entertainment Committee of BIS Ministry of Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution, Government of India was elected as the Senior Vice President of the council. The last meeting of the year met virtually.
Earlier Mr. Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra, Chancellor, Shobhit University was elected as the new National President of CEGR for the Calendar Year 2021 replacing Sanjiv Goswami the outgoing President. The meeting was Chaired by Prof. K.K. Agarwal Mentor CEGR and Chairman National Board of Accreditation.
The new managing committee also consists of Prof. R. Hariharan, Advisor (Approval), AICTE: Mr. V. M. Bansal Chairman NDIM, Dr. Davish Jain Chairman Prestige Education Foundation, Dr. Rakesh Chharia General Secretary IMS Group of Institutions, Dr. Ashwani Lochan Chairman Arunachal University of Studies and Prof. K. P. Isaac Director General XIME Group of Institutions a Senior Vice Presidents.
Mr. Anant Soni Chairman Arunachal University of Studies, Dr. Anupam Chouksey Pro Chancellor LNCT University, Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya Chairman Suryadatta Group of Institutes and Dr. Sandeep Pachpande Chairman, ASM Group of Institutions were elected as Vice Presidents. Mr. Ravish Roshan Director CEGR was nominated as Member Secretary of the organization.
CEGR is the leading and only education think tank in India, credited with four innovations. CEGR provides a platform for exchange of dialogue among educationists, the media and policy makers and augments educational growth and research.
Raipur: AAFT University of Media And Arts has planned to launch its radio station on 13th February, 2021 being the World Radio Day for the state of Raipur which can be heard all over the World being available on line.
“More than Hundred and thirty years after the world’s first station was founded, radio is still the most pervasive, accessible, affordable, and flexible mass medium available, especially in the developing world. The power of radio is not that it speaks to millions, but that it speaks intimately and privately to each one of those millions,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts while talking to the media students at Raipur.
“We are very excited to launch our Radio Station from Raipur. We have enough experience of 10 years of conducting Radio Station activities through our Radio Noida 107.4FM and Radio Noida.fm. This would have been there by now but owing to Pandemic the project got delayed by few months,” added Dr. Marwah.
Dr. Sushil Bharti Director Radio Noida has been appointed as the acting Director of Radio Raipur and shall be responsible for the launch of the same. The faculty and students of AAFT University are involved with the launching and day to day affairs of the Radio Station.
New Delhi: Urvashi Dance Music Art and Cultural Society in association with ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry conducted a series of program inclusive of Indian Classical music and dance competition which was open to the Whole World during the Pandemic period of 2020 under the title Sur Taal Hunar Ka Kamaal.
“Eighteen episodes consisting of approximately 150 artists from different countries including United Kingdom, Russia, USA, Bangladesh, UAE, France and Switzerland participated in this competition who will be further selected by the jury to the quarter final show. The whole series was designed, planned and executed on web to keep the artists busy and involved during Pandemic,” informed Rekha Mehra renowned Kathak Exponent and Director of Urvashi Dance Music Art and Cultural Society.
“Everybody is talented because everybody who is human has something to express. There is no dearth of talent in this country and even rest of the World. This program has proved that Indian classical dance and music both are liked and loved by people all over the World. We have learnt that you have to believe in yourself. You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you imagine,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.
Now MSTV and Radio Noida 107.4Fm will showcase the 18 episodes of competition where 150 artists have participated. The exact time of broadcast will be soon informed by the authorities. The show will be supported by AAFT University of Media And Arts, Ministry of Culture and ICCR-Indian Council For Cultural Relations of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
New Delhi: National Consumers Right Day is observed on 24 December to raise awareness about the rights of consumers and responsibilities. This is the day when the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 had received the assent of the President
“The aim of the enactment of the Consumer Protection Act is to provide safeguards to consumers against various types of exploitation like defective goods, deficiency in services, and unfair trade practices,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and National Chairman for Media And Entertainment Committee of BIS, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India at a webinar hosted in association with Asian Law College.
“A consumer is a person who buys any goods or avails a service for consideration. It does not consist of a person who obtains a good for resale or a good or service for commercial purposes. It also covers transactions through several modes like offline, online via electronic means, teleshopping, multi-level marketing, or direct selling,” added Dr. Marwah while talking to the members of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry. The session was followed by discussion and question answers.

Anil Kumar Mishra renowned Sarangi Player, Dr. Sudeep Rai Celebrated Sitar Maestro, Prabhat Mukherjee distinguished Santoor Player, Pt. Prateek Chaudhuri prominent Sitar Maestro, Sudhanshu Bahuguna well known Vocalist and Yogesh Kumar Shankar recognized Shehnai player will be the part of this music festival to honor the thirty years of Marwah Studios.
The final dates have been announced on 29th and 30th of December and session will be at 12am, 2.30 Pm and 5.00 Pm on both the days. Dr. Sushil Bharti will conduct the program.

Noida: The General Assembly, on 22 December 2005, identified solidarity as one of the fundamental and universal values that should underlie relations between peoples in the twenty-first century, and in that regard decided to proclaim 20 December of each year International Human Solidarity Day.

It was a great idea to bring the whole World together through fashion and design during 4th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2020,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of GFDWN.
“Design creates culture. Culture shapes values. Values determine the future. Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works. Design is the intermediary between information and understanding,” added Dr. Marwah appreciating the designers for their sincere contribution and participation.
“List was pretty long of the participants who all were working on their piece of art. Research, planning, designing, execution and then presentation of garment has taken long time to all these young and talented designers from all over India. The purpose of the festival is to promote, highlight and showcase their product to the large audience,” said Ritu Lal Festival Director.
Akash Kiran prepared garments from Israel, Anjali Sharma and Akshay Kumar opted Egypt, Snigdha Kaushik and Anjali Nagpal designed for Gambia, Ankit Sharma for Fiji, Srishty Gupta and Apoorv Arya planned for Bulgaria, Bhavya Shuklaand and Mehakdeep Kaur emphasised on Brazil, Cheshta Jhamb brought clothes from Afghanistan, Shivam Sharma and Dimple Pal designed for Turkmenistan, Sheetal and Dipali Agarwal worked for Tunisia.
Designer Divya Negi designed for Serbia, Divya Sharma and Jyoti Chauhan for Kazakhstan, Shelly Mohan and Esha Grover looked upon Iran, Hasim Malik for India, Jacqueline Gurung designed for Romania, Jyoti Chauhan finalised for Hungary, Kritika Bajaj and Mansi Chaudhary preferred Vietnam, Ruchi Yadav and Lalit Kumar for Sudan and Mayank Bharti shaped for Azerbaijan.
Designer Pooja Patni and MD Mohsin designed Russian garments, Muskan Duggal opted South American country Guatemala, Swati Pandey and Muskan Khurana from Central Asia Armenia, Ramya Sharma and Muskan Rastogi finalised Morocco, Muskan Soni went out of way to do for South Africa, Rinki designed for Georgia, , Shivani Saini for neighbouring country Nepal, Shobha Rani presented garments from Rwanda, Simranpreet Kaur concentrated on Montenegro, Stuti Singh for Peru, , Vitika Singh and Tapsna Tyagi – Germany and Vedika designed clothes from Panama.
