Life In A Dance- a full length documentary from Venezuela was the first film opened by Alfredo Caldera Charge D’ Affaires of Embassy of Venezuela in India. It is about the life and artistic career of the flamenco dancer from La Linea de la Concepcion, David Morales Ramirez. This film is in itself an example how a documentary transforms the life, not only of its protagonist, but also of its creators directed by Blanca Rey.
Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented an Award of Distinction to Alfredo Carla for the documentary being as one of the best nine documentaries of the festival. A memento of the festival was also handed over to the guest. The students of AAFT School of Journalism and Mass Communication and many film lovers from all over India enjoyed the screening of the film.
The event was supported by AUA-Asian Unity Alliance, IFTRC-International Film and Television Research Centre, AAFT University, IPBF-International Public Broadcasting Forum, and WPDRF- World Peace Development and Research Foundation. The film has been included as a part of 11th International Documentary Film Festival promoted by International Journalism Centre.

He frequently produced politically charged and socially-rooted writings on several pressing contemporary issues. Bhagat Singh was a trained journalist who started young. He began his journalistic journey working as an apprentice with well-known media organisations of his time, like Pratap and Vir Arjun. Significantly, he honed his journalistic craft under the editorship of Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi, a pioneer of radical journalism in India and a solid Gandhian political activist.
In his short, creative and meaningful journalistic career – which coincided with and ran parallel to his revolutionary political life – Singh, in varying capacities, was associated with more than a dozen prestigious newspapers and magazines that were published from different parts of the country. These included Kirti, Pratap, Maharathi, Vir Arjun, Matwala, Prabha, Akali, Chand, Bande Mataram, among others.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah was honoured with the prestigious MSME Award for his untiring contribution to Media and Entertainment Industry. H.E. Nguyen Thanh Hai Ambassador of Vietnam to India was also present on the Stage along with other dignities.
Doha: Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University of Media and Arts recently visited Doha, Qatar to study the tourism of the country especially after the completion of grand show of FIFA.

Dr Sandeep Marwah also met Akbar Al Baker Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive and learned more about the rising tourism in Qatar.
