
New Delhi: The 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week created by International Film And Television Club of Marwah Studios has grown much bigger in size as well in its reach in all these years.
Some of the most prestigious and important organizations are now supporting the festival of fashion and design including International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry, International Film And Television Research Centre, International Public Broadcasting Forum, International Children’s Film Forum, International Women’s Film Forum, International Journalism Centre and AAFT University of Media And Arts.
More than five Hundred thousand creative people who all are connected to films, television, media, fashion, design, art and culture have been invited to know about the week. It will remain open from 17thApril to 19th April.
“We are fully ready to showcase 700 creative pieces of art touching 40 countries by 200 different designers from all over India. An exhibition of furniture, jewelry, paintings, textiles etc. will be the great attraction,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the festival.
Noida: In a general board meeting of International Film And Television Club of Marwah Studios it was decided to have the third edition of Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019 from 17th to 19th April at Marwah Studios premises.
The arrangements have been in the process and a team of 300 people been involved in organizing this great gala international event under the leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the festival who has been already titled as Global Cultural Minister.
Around 40 countries, 200 designers, 700 garments representing different countries, 6 seminars, 8 exhibitions including paintings, jewelers, furniture etc. will be presented. 9 workshops have been planned by known designers who will conduct workshops on makeup, marketing skills, body paint etc. 6 seminars covering journalism and fashion, cinema and fashion, PR and fashion etc. have been also included.
The main attraction this time will be the involvement of 300 press and media from all over the World who all have agreed to cover the event in different web sites and mediums.
“We are feeling elevated since we have started Global Fashion Week in this part of the country, with the first one itself we have been rated as one of the best fashion events in the World. The beginning was with the presence of 34 beauty queens from 34 different countries of the World to open the fashion week.,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah.
“We have grown in 3 years and it is going to be an interesting and valuable event to the industry,” added Ritu Lal Festival Director.

Keep your love for art on your sleeves, people should be able to identify you as an artist immediately,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts at the inauguration of painting exhibition of paintings by new artist Savy Jain at Ronald Art Gallery at Alliance Francaise.
A solo show by artist Savya Jain titled ‘Yes-No-Maybe’ was curated by Jitendera Padam Jain of Sree Art Gallery. The paintings are gorgeous, colorful, and very expressive. They are blend of new technics and old methods, modern and traditional looks. The variety and range is too wide,” added Dr. Marwah
Large number of art lovers, artists and members of Alliance Francaise were present there at the time of inauguration. Dr. Marwah also released a calendar of paintings by Savya Jain.
Noida: IWFF – International Women’s Film Forum of Marwah Studios, a mother organization for the cause of women, has decided to promote a new association under the name and banner of Weaving Dreams to motivate working women and to encourage women to get into new business and profession.
The first stimulating session took place at Marwah Studios and large number of young and old women participated in the summit. “ believe in you and things will start working automatically, it’s a law of positive thinking. I am here to express my own case study which I can deeply explain to you,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and now patron to Weaving Dreams.
“We are here to bring powerful speakers to you so that you can learn from their experiences and charge your energies to work hard,” said Dr. Gagandeep Kaur Gulati founder and president of Weaving Dreams.
Dr. Shobana Narayan Retd. IAS & Kathak Guru, Dr. Mridula Tandon President NGO Sakshi, Dr. Deepa Gupta HOD Mgt. Studies, GL Bajaj Educational Institute & Rietu A Bhatia were the other speakers on the dais. International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry supported the event.
Noida: “Sport as a universal language can be a powerful tool to promote peace, tolerance and understanding by bringing people together across boundaries, cultures and religions,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Global Ambassador of IHRO affiliated to United Nations at the event to celebrate International Day of Sport for Development and Peace.
“Its intrinsic values such as teamwork, fairness, discipline, respect for the opponent and the rules of the game are understood all over the world and can be harnessed in the advancement of solidarity, social cohesion and peaceful coexistence,” added Dr. Marwah also Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nations Associations.
“Sport programmes permit encounters on neutral territory and in an environment where aggression can be controlled, regulated and transformed and hence facilitates rapprochement and reconciliation between opposing parties,” said Alex Teodorescu a film maker from Romania at the function while releasing the poster to mark respect to the day.
“Although sport alone cannot stop or solve an acute conflict, it represents a flexible and cost-effective medium for post-conflict relief work and peace building as well as conflict prevention,” said Andra Axentoi film promoter from Romania at Marwah Studios.
“Sport is also an important enabler of sustainable development. We recognize the growing contribution of sport to the realization of development and peace in its promotion of tolerance and respect and the contributions it makes to the empowerment of women and of young people, individuals and communities as well as to health, education and social inclusion objectives,” a message by Secretary General United Nations read by Sudhir Ranjan of AAFT University of Media And Arts.
Noida: “Healthy citizen means Healthy Nation. Universal health coverage is WHO’s number one goal. Key to achieving it is ensuring that everyone can obtain the care they need, when they need it, right in the heart of the community,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while talking to the media persons on the occasion of World Health Day at Noida Film City.
“Progress is being made in countries in all regions of the world. But millions of people still have no access at all to health care. Millions more are forced to choose between health care and other daily expenses such as food, clothing and even a home,” added Dr. Marwah who is also Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations and Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nations Associations.
This is why WHO is focusing on universal health coverage for this year’s World Health Day, on 7 April. Sandeep Marwah launched a poster to high light the health issues in India.

So your daughter will have a role model and your son will know what to look for in a woman when he’s a man,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts at the conference organized by a voluntary organization SHERISE at Hotel Le Meridien.
“We are lucky to have a great international personality- Sandeep Marwah-The Global Cultural Minister to support and motivate us at our conference. His presence has elevated our ideas and vision of the association,” welcomed Amana Singh the president of Sherise society with an aim to work for the upliftment of Women.
Dr. Marwah presented Sherise awards to nearly 30 workingwomen who all have done extra ordinary well in their life. Marwah also invited all the achievers to be part of Radio Noida and MSTV to voice out their achievements under International Women’s Film Forum.
