ICMEI Extends Warm Greetings to Cuba on Its Independence Day. Noida: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) extended its heartiest congratulations to His Excellency Juan Carlos Marsán Aguilera, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to India, and to the people of Cuba on the joyous occasion of their Independence Day, celebrated on 10th October.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chair of the Indo Cuba Film and Cultural Forum, expressed his admiration for the deep cultural, artistic, and diplomatic ties between India and Cuba. “Cuba and India share a long history of friendship and solidarity. Through art, cinema, and cultural initiatives, ICMEI and the Indo Cuba Film and Cultural Forum have been consistently working to strengthen these relations,” said Dr. Marwah.

He added that Cuba has been an active and esteemed participant in all major international programs organized by ICMEI, such as the Global Film Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Fashion Week, Global Literary Festival, International Festival of Cellphone Cinema, International Documentary Film Festival, and the International Food Festival, which celebrate creativity and global unity.

Dr. Marwah reaffirmed ICMEI’s commitment to promoting cultural diplomacy and global friendship, stating, “Art and culture are universal languages that unite people. Our collaboration with Cuba stands as a symbol of shared values and enduring goodwill between our nations.”
