International Documentary Film Festival Noida is one such festival where documentary films from the country and the world have been invited. Documentary films are produced all over the world. In most cases, budding filmmakers start by making small and big documentary films and then move on to feature films. The production of documentary films should be encouraged so that this beautiful art remains intact, and on the other hand, history can be written through creativity.
It is a commendable initiative by the Asian Academy of Film and Television, which has continuously promoted this vital genre and has continued this documentary film festival for the last nine years. In these last nine years, its form and shape have grown enormously, and now we are getting many documentary films from all over the country and the world for this upcoming festival.
Entry is open to attend the 11th International Documentary Film Festival. By July 31, 2023, filmmakers worldwide can send their films to this festival. The subject of films can be anything. If we talk about the film’s duration, it will have three categories—movies of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, and 60 Minutes duration. The movie to be included in this festival will have to go through the eyes of a special jury. First, second, and third winning films will be given a cash prize of 1 lakh, 50 thousand, and 25 thousand. There will be consolation prizes for the rest.
