The International Documentary Film Festival Noida is a significant platform where documentary films from around the world are showcased. Aspiring filmmakers often begin their journey with documentaries before venturing into feature films. This festival aims to preserve and promote this remarkable art form, ensuring that history is creatively documented.

Organized by the Asian Academy of Film and Television, this initiative has been instrumental in fostering the growth of documentary filmmaking for the past nine years. Over time, the festival has expanded its reach, attracting numerous submissions from across the globe.

Entries are now open for the 13th edition of the festival. The deadline for submission is May 31, 2025. Filmmakers worldwide are encouraged to submit their works, covering any subject matter. The festival will accept films in three duration categories: 15 minutes, 30 minutes, and 60 minutes. A distinguished jury will evaluate the submissions, and the top three films will receive cash prizes, with additional consolation awards.
