Noida, India – In a grand show of solidarity, the Asian Unity Alliance, under the dynamic leadership of its Global President Dr. Sandeep Marwah, celebrated Asian Unity Day on 2nd April with remarkable fervor and participation from across the continent. The celebrations were headquartered at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City, recognized as the birthplace and global nerve center of the Alliance.
Dr. Marwah, a renowned international figure in the fields of media, culture, and diplomacy, addressed dignitaries and delegates joining from across Asia, emphasizing the critical need for unity, peace, and cultural cooperation among Asian nations.
“Asia is not just the largest continent by population and size, it is the heart of world civilization. Today, as we celebrate Asian Unity Day, we celebrate our shared heritage, our rich cultural diversity, and a common vision for a peaceful and prosperous future,” said Dr. Marwah in his keynote address.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 50 Asian countries, with numerous governments extending their support through their respective Embassies and High Commissions. Notably, 31 countries have already collaborated with the Asian Unity Alliance and the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) to establish Cultural Centres at Marwah Studios, Noida—an unparalleled initiative in cultural diplomacy.
“These Cultural Centres are not just symbols, they are dynamic hubs of exchange, education, and engagement. They stand as powerful reminders that collaboration in arts and culture can lead to deeper political and economic alliances,” added Dr. Marwah.
Countries that participated directly from their own territories include: India, China, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Japan, Philippines, Vietnam, Iran, Turkey, Thailand, Myanmar, South Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, North Korea, Syria, Sri Lanka, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Israel, Laos, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Singapore, Lebanon, State of Palestine, Oman, Kuwait, Georgia, Mongolia, Qatar, Armenia, Bahrain, Timor-Leste, Cyprus, Bhutan, Maldives, and Brunei.
The day was marked with cultural performances, virtual panel discussions, diplomatic addresses, and presentations showcasing the rich traditions and shared aspirations of the Asian continent.
