Noida: The ASMS- Asian School of Media Studies sister concern of AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television has grown in itself a powerful school of Cinema. The department of Cinema has its own prestigious building, large equipment, dedicated faculty, a separate production house and now an award has been designed for the best films.

“We have designed different categories of Best Cinematographer, Best Editor, Best Sound, Best Direction, Best Male Actor, Best Female Actor, Best Film and   Jury Recommendations both for passing out students from Masters and Undergraduate,” informed Prof. Vikas Singh Dean ASMS Department of Cinema.

“The awards have been given to students crossing out of a massive competition and decided by the board of jury. All films were screened before and nominees were presented to the audience. A full proof job has been done,” said Prof. Amir Abdullah Director Cinema.

“I am amazed by the productions made by students. They definitely deserve awards. Next time we will take these awards to higher platform and in a bigger scale,” said Sandeep Marwah addressing to the students while presenting them the ASMS awards.
