BES EXPO 2012, the 18thinternational Conference and Exhibition on Terrestrial and Satellite Broadcasting, India’s biggest broadcast technology show was organised at Pragati Maidan from February 11th to 13th, 2012. Asian School of Media Studies of Marwah Studios was nominated as the media partner for this great international show.
A team of 14 members of Asian School of Media Studies covered the event in video and still photography. Specialized interviews and comments were also gathered and recorded by the coverage team. The event was inaugurated by Dr. S.Jagathrakshakan, Hon’ble Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting, Government of India.
“We encourage our students to be part of these kind of international and national events so that they get huge exposure which is in addition to campus education and training” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios.
Former E.in C, Doordarshan & Additional Director, ASMS& Asian School Of Communication R.K Singh also council member of Broadcasting Engineering Society, chaired the session ‘Broadcast Spectrum Management & Innovations in Broadcasting Production Technologies’. Other sessions conducted were on digital broadcasting, content management, role of media and broadcast spectrum management.
C.M. Jatua Hon’ble Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Government of India was the chief guest at the valedictory and award function.
