The Indo Turkey Film and Cultural Forum, in association with the Embassy of Turkey in India. Proudly marked its significant presence at the 9th Global Fashion and Design Week (GFDW) Noida 2025. Hence hosted at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City. This week-long celebration of fashion, art, and culture has been globally recognized as the largest fashion week ever organized by any academic institution. Making it a historic milestone in the international fashion and design community.
Organized under the aegis of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) Fashion Committee. And supported by the AAFT School of Fashion and Design and AAFT School of Interior Designing. GFDW 2025 served as a grand confluence of talent, innovation, and global culture. The event witnessed the participation of 200 leading designers. Showcased over 550 original designer garments, and featured 125 distinctive interior design pieces.
The festival was further elevated by 90 fashion rounds across 9 vibrant shows. 6 curated exhibitions. and 9 international culinary experiences, bringing together diverse global flavors. Additionally, the event included fashion film screenings, live broadcasting on MSTV and Radio Noida, and the powerful backing of over 600 media houses from around the world, reinforcing its global reach and impact.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chair of the Indo Turkey Film and Cultural Forum and President of the Festival. Emphasized the importance of cultural exchange through creative expression. “As always, the Indo Turkey Film and Cultural Forum has played a dynamic role in this grand international platform. This year, we proudly presented a collection that captured the essence of Turkish history, architecture, and elegance,” said Dr. Marwah.
The centerpiece of the Forum’s presentation was “Kankali”, a haute couture collection inspired by the rich heritage and architectural beauty of Turkey. Drawing influence from the grandeur of Ottoman artistry and the vibrant soul of Istanbul’s streets. The collection featured flowing gowns crafted in luxurious such as net, satin, and organza. Hence With a color palette dominated by soft blue tones, the garments embodied grace, romance, and the timeless spirit of Turkish design.
In addition to the fashion showcase, a unique piece of furniture inspired by traditional. Turkish motifs and craftsmanship also displayed, further emphasizing Turkey’s influence on global design aesthetics.
