
ICMEI Signs MoU with United Service Institution of India to Promote National Interest Through Culture and Strategic Collaboration. New Delhi, August 2, 2025: In a significant step toward fostering national pride and strategic awareness through the medium of media and culture. Hence the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). With the United Service Institution of India (USII)—India’s premier national security and defense services think tank.
The MoU was signed in the esteemed presence of Maj Gen B.K. Sharma (Retd.), Director General of USII, and Maj Gen P.K. Goswami (Retd.), who witnessed the formal agreement aimed at collaborative efforts to promote India’s national interests, heritage, and global image through joint initiatives.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, emphasized the importance of this unique alliance. Hence “The partnership between a leading defense think tank and a media and cultural institution like ICMEI will open new doors for strategic communication, cultural awareness, and national pride. Together, we will work on initiatives that bridge the gap between civil society and strategic affairs,” he said.
Both organizations agreed to collaborate on seminars, media projects, publications. Hence awareness campaigns, and educational programs that contribute to informed public discourse on India’s defense, diplomacy, and cultural legacy. This landmark collaboration expected to bring together thought leaders, defense experts. And cultural influencers to shape a stronger and more unified narrative for India on the global stage. Indo-Ethiopia Film and Cultural Forum Gains Momentum with Poster Launch at Embassy of Ethiopia. New Delhi, August 2, 2025: The Indo-Ethiopia Film and Cultural Forum. An initiative of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI). Hence brought into the spotlight with a symbolic poster launch ceremony held at the Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in New Delhi.
The event graced by Ambassador Molalign Asfaw, Deputy Head of the Mission. Who unveiled the official poster, marking a significant step toward deepening cultural and artistic collaboration between India and Ethiopia.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, also took the opportunity to formally hand over. Hence the patronship of the Indo-Ethiopia Film and Cultural Forum to Ambassador Molalign Asfaw. Entrusting him with the vision of furthering this cultural partnership. “This forum is a bridge between two ancient civilizations united by art, culture, and creativity. We honored to have the Embassy of Ethiopia as an active partner in promoting. People-to-people connections through cinema and culture,” said Dr. Marwah.
Ambassador Molalign Asfaw expressed his gratitude and affirmed Ethiopia’s commitment to enhancing cultural exchange with India. “This platform is a welcome initiative, and we look forward to joint projects, film screenings, academic collaborations, and youth engagement through this forum,” he said.

Indo-Comoros Film and Cultural Forum to Expand Bilateral Cultural Cooperation. New Delhi, August 2, 2025: In a productive meeting focused on advancing cultural diplomacy. Hence Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), engaged in a meaningful discussion with Commodore K. L. Ganju, Hon. Consul General of the Union of the Comoros in India. The dialogue centered on enhancing the initiatives of the Indo-Comoros Film and Cultural Forum to further strengthen cultural ties between India and Comoros.
Dr. Marwah emphasized the importance of deeper engagement through artistic collaborations, educational exchanges, and joint media ventures. “It is time to raise the level of involvement and interaction between India and Comoros by utilizing the power of cinema, culture, and education. The Indo-Comoros Film and Cultural Forum serves as a dynamic platform to bring our nations closer,” he stated.
Commodore K. L. Ganju appreciated the consistent efforts of Dr. Marwah and ICMEI in promoting international cultural relations. “We see great potential in this partnership. With ICMEI’s experience and dedication, we can significantly boost cultural and people-to-people ties between Comoros and India,” he said.
