Renowned fashion designer Varija Bajaj expressed her desire to promote Indian traditional dresses through her brand Varija Bajaj as most of the Indian functions still demands Indian style of dressing at a seminar during the final day of 2nd Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2014 at Marwah Studios.  “No fashion is complete till you give the final touches of related makeup to yourself or for whom you are working as dress designer” added Aamir Zakir a popular makeup person of the town. Others who spoke and share their views were dress designer Sonia Jaitely and Niket and Jainee.

“We are pleased to have these great designers on board and hope that their experience will help us in molding our fashion trends to the right direction” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios. The seminar was attended by students and professionals from film, television, media and fashion fraternity.

“The style and presentation of News have changed from time to time keeping in mind the requirements of the audience” said Onkareswar Pandey renowned television journalist from Bhasker TV while conducting the workshop during 2nd Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2014. The idea was to relate and to inform young television journalists and media students with the latest method, techniques and ways of collecting, editing and presenting the news on channels. Answering the questions Onkareswar Pandey gave examples of number of different channels and foreign news on TV. The workshop finished with a note of thanks and presentation of life membership of International Journalism Centre to Pandey.

“We have been preparing TV channel for quite some time, had a trial broadcasting during 6th Global Film Festival and now announcing the soft launching of http://www.marwahstudios.tv” said Sandeep Marwah on the inauguration of marwahstudios.tv on the first day of 2nd Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2014.

Marwah Studios have been involved in the promotion of talent from last 22 years, I am sure that even television will also adopt the same ideology” said Col. A.A. Adekoya, a special envoy flown from Nigeria to represent the Nigerian Government at 2nd GFJN.

Others who spoke on the occasion were standup Comedian Deepak Saini, renowned Devotional singer Kumar Vishu, sufi Qwaal Akbar Aamir, Pop Singer Sonu Thukral, Talent promoter and singer Prem Bhatia and Dr.Bimlesh Dhar Pandey from Fortis.

Later each and every one showcased their talent in a jam packed hall which was covered by marwahstudios.tv and broadcasted live to the whole World. Sandeep Marwah presented life membership of International Journalism Centre to all the guests.

“The films are not more than 5 minutes but saying a lot to the audience, well they are fulfilling the purpose of cinema” added Prem Bhatia renowned talent promoter and singer. “We have more than 500 films which are called ‘Electronic News Gathering’ and now ‘Digital News Gathering’. Every student of journalism gets an opportunity to make film at the cost of our production house’ said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah studios. Renowned devotional Singer Kumar Manoj Bakshi, Ashima Khanna Sachdeva, Kumar Vishu, Qwwaal Akbar Aamir, Pop Singer Sonu Thukral, Standup Comedian Deepak Saini, singer Tikko Hans and Dr Bimlesh Dhar Pandey also spoke on the inauguration.

“Writing and journalism cannot be separated at any stage, many journalists have become writers and have presented best of the literature to the World’ said Sandeep Marwah in his opening remarks while introducing the writer Dr. Madhukar Gangadhar. Dr. Madhukar Gangadhar is a well known writer who has given more than 25 books to the field of literature. He has retired from Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India after 35 years of his services and lately served as Additional Director General of All India Radio. “I am obliged to Marwah Studios for providing me an international platform for my book release. Considering the achievements of Sandeep Marwah I have dedicated this book to Sandeep Marwah -The founder and promoter of Film City” expressed Gangadhar. The event was attended by large number of film, television and media persons. The dice was shared by renowned lawyer & Journalist Venkat, Naveen kumar from Zee, Katyani Chaturvedi from P7, Rohit Ranjan of Samachar Plus, Swaran Danewalia and Nitin Saxena from ASMS.

A special radio program has been designed for the former President of India H.E. Pratibha Devisingh Patil and was broadcasted on the International Journalism Day-12th February 2014 during the 2nd Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2014. The radio program which was recorded on the birthday of former President of India and broadcasted earlier on the same day brought a lot of credibility to the station. This was probably the longest interview recording Her Excellency as ever given to any Radio Station. Radio Noida 107.4 Fm is covering South Delhi, East and Central Delhi, Part of Ghaziabad and Faridabad including Noida and reaching 2 million people of this area. 2nd Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2014 has attracted many segments of life, art and culture. The festival exhibits paintings, still photography and also sketches by renowned artist Ashok Nagpure from Nasik. “I am impressed by the works of Ashok, he has caliber, quality and quantum” said Shivajirao Patil while inaugurating the exhibition. “I have requested Ashok to be part of our fine arts department it will add to our standards” added Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

The exhibition was attended by H.E. Ambassador of Solvenia, former minister of UP Madan Chauhan, Dayanand Vats of All India Journalist and Writers Association, Vipin Gaur of News Paper Association, V.K.Sharma of All Journalist Association, Editor Chauthi Duniya Waseem Rashid, former Addl. Director General All India Radio Dr. Madhukar Gangadhar, Kunwar Ajeet Singh and D.P. Sibal were present on the occasion. Guinness Book record holder Ashok Nagpure displayed his sketch of 432 feet in length and 8 feet in breath along with 12 sketches of former Presidents of India which he made in 12 hours. Nagpure also announced his next project of 72 feet by 42 feet portrait of Amitabh Bachchan.

“Paintings are the expression of feelings from heart and thinking from mind, we have always included exhibition of paintings as part of our every event” Sandeep Marwah introduced S.B.Sibal renowned painter of the country at the inauguration of his exhibition on the first day of 2nd Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2014. The exhibition lamp was lighted by Padma Bhushan Shivajirao G Patil, , H.E. Darja Bavdaz-Kuret Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in India, former Minister of UP and MLA Madan Chauhan, former Secretary Sudhir Devare, Film Maker of UK Lucy Brown.

“I am surprised Sandeep Marwah has covered all the mediums of media under one roof, it is a golden opportunity for young aspirants to learn from him” said Shivajirao. “These are one of the best paintings I have ever seen” Patil added. Dayanand Vats of All India Journalist and Writers Association, Vipin Gaur of News Paper Association, V.K.Sharma of All Journalist Association, Editor Chauthi Duniya Waseem Rashid, former Addl. It is my pride to be part of this Grand International event” added D.P.Sibal thanking everyone on the occasion.

2nd GFJN 2014 was declared open to people today at Noida Film City for three days from 12th to 14th February. The festival is planned to mark respect to the International Day Journalism which falls on 12th Feb. International Journalism Centre along with many national and international organizations are participating in the second edition of the only festival of this kind in Asia. “We will have 32 events including workshops, seminars, master classes, exhibitions, book releases, Documentary, ENG and short films screenings during the festival” informed Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios. The festival was inaugurated by Madan Chauhan MLA UP Assembly, H.E. Darja Bavdaz-Kuret Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in India, Padma Bhushan Shivajirao G Patil, Sudhir Devare former foreign Secretary Govt. of India, Lucy Brown film maker from UK and Alumni of AAFT Miss Asia Pacific Srishti Rana. Festival will celebrate 13th as International Radio Day and 14th as Valentine ’s Day with large number of entertainment programs. The festival was attended by people from all mediums of media.

“It has been five years we have put in our best into the organization to look after the welfare of the journalist in Delhi” said V.K.Sharma President of All Journalist Association accepting the membership of International Journalism Centre at Noida Film City. International Journalism Centre is working on the common goals with different national and international journalist associations under the leadership of renowned international media person Sandeep Marwah with its head quarters at Marwah Studios. AJA-All Journalist Association is working on the motives of improving standards and working conditions of the journalists. Its aim is to bring in cooperation and unity within the large number of journalist associated with it. AJA will work for 2nd Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2014.

International Journalism Centre the presenter of 2nd Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2014 invited Newspapers Association of India as partners in the festival. “We are association of 7000 journalist all over India and in existence for 17 years. This is our second wonderful experience to be part of this international event” said Vipin Gaur General Secretary of NAI. “The festival has designed workshops, seminars, exhibitions, film shows, master classes, awards and entertainment programs during the three days of event covering all the journalists from print, television, radio, cinema, sports and others segments” said Sandeep Marwah President of International Journalism Centre.
