Thapar was bestowed with the esteemed Life Membership of the World Peace Development and Research Foundation (WPDRF). The ceremony, graced by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and WPDRF, was a poignant recognition of Colonel Thapar’s enduring legacy of valor and sacrifice.

Captain Vijyant Thapar, a brave officer of the Indian Army belonging to the revered 2 Rajputana Rifles infantry regiment, displayed unparalleled courage during the Kargil War. His valorous actions and audacious bravery earned him the prestigious Vir Chakra, India’s highest military honor, posthumously conferred by the President of India.
