Dr. Sandeep Marwah Extends Congratulations to the Dominican Republic on Independence Day New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), on behalf of the media and entertainment industry and the art and culture fraternity of India, extended his heartiest congratulations to His Excellency Mr. Francisco Manuel Compres Hernandez, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to India, and to the people of the Dominican Republic on the proud occasion of Independence Day, celebrated on 27th February.

Dr. Marwah conveyed his warm wishes for peace, prosperity, and continued development to the Dominican Republic and acknowledged the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between India and the Caribbean nation.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Marwah said, “Cultural diplomacy is a powerful bridge between nations. Through films, media, art, and cultural exchanges, we can further enhance understanding and friendship between India and the Dominican Republic.”

He also expressed ICMEI’s keen interest in promoting collaboration through film festivals, cultural forums, academic partnerships, and joint creative initiatives that encourage people-to-people contact and mutual growth. Dr. Marwah wished His Excellency Francisco Manuel Compres Hernandez great success in his diplomatic mission and extended sincere greetings to the people of the Dominican Republic on their Independence Day.
