Guran, Irfan Khan, Dr. Higasy, Sami Saleem,Sandeep Marwah “Any Art which can give you pleasure and smooth sailing of your life should be the part of your life including Paintings” said Irfan Khan the renowned international face of Indian Cinema who has performed in films like Slumdog Millionaire,New York,Billu,Dil Kabaddi, Mumbai Meri Jaan ect. “I believe performing Arts including Paintings are stress reliever in this age .The collection of paintings in this exhibition speak about the deep interest of Gaurang Jalan in Arts.” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and great Art lover while inaugurating the exhibition of assorted senior artist at Lalit Kala Academy in Delhi by Jagriti Art Intiative under tittle Metaphoric Shifts and New Imagery. “Colours have deep relation with the thinking of the person, the selection of painting depends on the mood of the buyer, today the collection of paintings is enormous” said H.E. Mohamed Higasy, Ambassador of Arab Republic of Egypt in India. The secretary of Lalit Kala Academy Dr. Sudhakar Sharma appreciated 60 works displayed at the gallery. The artist involved with exhibition included M.F. Hussain, Sami Saleem, Satish Gujral, Bijon Chaudhary, Jayshree Chakraborty, Prosenjit Sengupta, Bikash Bhattacharya and others.

“Cultural activities are as important as studies in schools. It not only develops your mind but also promote personality of the student. Every school must have a cultural wing” said Arvind Singh Lovely, Minister of Education and Transport, Government of Delhi while inaugurating Anand Ustav of Happy School at Hamsadhwani Theatre.
