ICMEI Celebrates Independence Day of Uzbekistan. Noida: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) proudly joined in the celebrations of the Independence Day of Uzbekistan observed on 1st September. Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chancellor of AAFT University, also Chair for the Indo-Uzbekistan Film and Cultural Forum, extended his heartiest congratulations to H.E. Sardor Rustambaev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India, and to the people of Uzbekistan on this significant occasion. “Uzbekistan has been our valued partner in every major initiative, and we have left no stone unturned in highlighting our strong cultural and diplomatic ties over the years. My two visits to Tashkent have further strengthened our relations, taking them to new heights,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah. The Indo-Uzbekistan Film and Cultural Forum under ICMEI has been instrumental in promoting cultural diplomacy through films, art, education, and cultural exchanges, thereby building a strong bridge of friendship between the two nations.
