ICMEI Celebrates National Day of Switzerland

Noida: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) extended warm congratulations to H.E. Dr. Ralf Heckner, Ambassador of Switzerland to India, and the people of Switzerland on the occasion of Switzerland’s National Day, which falls on 1st August. Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, expressed his best wishes on behalf of the entire Indian art and culture fraternity.

“India and Switzerland share a wonderful bond that has been nurtured over the years through mutual respect and collaboration. The strong relations between our two countries are a testament to our shared values and cultural exchanges,” said Dr. Marwah. He further highlighted that his multiple visits to Switzerland, representing both ICMEI and Marwah Studios, have played a significant role in strengthening the ties between the two nations through art and culture.

Dr. Marwah emphasized the potential for further collaboration between the two countries, especially through the Indo-Switzerland Film and Cultural Forum. “There is immense scope for promoting cultural exchanges and film collaborations at a larger scale. The Indo-Switzerland Film and Cultural Forum, which is yet to be promoted at a bigger level, can serve as a bridge to bring our two cultures closer together,” he added.

ICMEI remains committed to fostering international relations through art, culture, and media. The Chamber believes that cultural diplomacy is a powerful tool to unite nations, and Switzerland’s National Day is a moment to celebrate the strong and enduring friendship between India and Switzerland.
