Noida: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the Indo-Lebanon Film and Cultural Forum (ILFCF), extended his warmest congratulations to H.E. Rabie Narsh, Ambassador of Lebanon, and the people of Lebanon on the occasion of their Independence Day, celebrated on 22nd November. Speaking on behalf of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and the art and culture fraternity of India, Dr. Marwah emphasized the strong and ever-growing friendship between India and Lebanon.
“India and Lebanon share a history of cordial relations and mutual respect. These ties have been further strengthened with the establishment of the Indo-Lebanon Film and Cultural Forum, which has paved the way for collaborative initiatives in arts and culture. The Embassy of Lebanon has been a valued partner in many of ICMEI’s flagship programs, such as the Global Film Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Literary Festival, Global Fashion Week, and the International Documentary Film Festival,” stated Dr. Marwah.
Highlighting the role of cultural diplomacy, Dr. Marwah elaborated on how ICMEI continues to serve as a platform to bring nations closer through creative and artistic ventures. “The Indo-Lebanon Film and Cultural Forum has successfully bridged gaps between the two nations by fostering people-to-people connections and encouraging cross-cultural exchange. This partnership has not only enriched the cultural landscape but also created opportunities for filmmakers, artists, and journalists from both nations to work together,” he added.
Dr. Marwah also mentioned plans to expand collaborative efforts in the near future. “We look forward to more dynamic engagements with Lebanon, particularly in the fields of education, media, and entertainment. These partnerships are a testament to the shared vision of promoting harmony and cultural unity between India and Lebanon,” he remarked.
As a global cultural ambassador and a firm believer in the power of creative industries to unite nations, Dr. Marwah concluded his message by reiterating his heartfelt congratulations to the people of Lebanon on this significant occasion. “I extend my heartiest congratulations to H.E. Rabie Narsh and the people of Lebanon on their Independence Day. May this day mark the beginning of greater prosperity, peace, and success for Lebanon,” he said.
The ICMEI has been instrumental in using cultural diplomacy to build and enhance relations with various nations. Lebanon, with its rich heritage and artistic tradition, has been an integral part of this vision, contributing immensely to the collaborative efforts of ICMEI.
