ICMEI Extends Greetings on the Independence Day of Indonesia. Noida: August 17, 2025 – The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) extends its heartiest congratulations to Her Excellency Ina Krishnamurthi, Ambassador of Indonesia to India, and to the people of the Republic of Indonesia on the auspicious occasion of their Independence Day, celebrated on 17th August.

India and Indonesia share a rich history of friendship, cultural affinity, and growing bilateral cooperation. Over the years, the two nations have nurtured strong diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties, making the relationship one of warmth and mutual respect.

Under the leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chair of the Indo Indonesia Film and Cultural Forum (IIFCF), the forum has been actively working to strengthen the cultural and creative bonds between the people of both countries.
