ICMEI Extends Warm Greetings to Ambassador of Iceland on National Day. New Delhi, 17th June 2025: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) proudly extends its heartfelt  congratulations to His Excellency Mr. Benedikt Hoskuldsson, Ambassador of Iceland to India, and to the people of Iceland on the occasion of their National Day. Marking 17th June as a celebration of Iceland’s independence. ICMEI President Dr. Sandeep Marwah expressed admiration for the country’s unique cultural identity and its commitment to global harmony. “India and Iceland share warm and friendly relations built on mutual respect and shared values. These ties can be further strengthened through the soft power of art, cinema, and culture,” said Dr. Marwah. Under the banner of the Indo Iceland Film and Cultural Forum.
