Noida: “We are pleased to join hands with one of the most popular women organizations in India-IAWRT stands for The International Association of Women in Radio & Television, India. Together we will work towards the promotion of cinema and other formats of media,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry.

We are happy to announce Dr. Sandeep Marwah as the patron of the organisation. He has been part of the organisation from the beginning of the association when his name was referred by Jai Chandiram, our founder,” said Aradhana Kohli who is Founder of Enable India Foundation a communication praxis. She makes documentaries, curates film festivals, works extensively with urban poor, especially women and children exploring use of technology to help articulate their felt needs.

IAWRT Chapter India began in 2005 under the leadership of the first Managing Trustee, Jai Chandiram, also that time board member of AAFT. The vision of IAWRT Chapter India is to enable perspective building on issues faced by women media practitioners, while keeping a sharp focus on the changing media landscape, and work towards creating spaces free from bias, discrimination and abuse, for women media practitioners.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented Aradhana Kohli with life membership of International Film and Television Club of Asian Academy of Film and Television.
