ICMEI Signed MOU with Vietnam to Promote Art and Culture
New Delhi: Strengthening the cultural ties that have existed for centuries between India and Vietnam, a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and the State of Lao Cai, Vietnam. The MOU aims to foster collaboration and mutual understanding in promoting the rich art and culture of both nations.
The signing ceremony took place in New Delhi and was graced by a distinguished delegation of businessmen and officials from Vietnam, who extended their warm hospitality and invitation to ICMEI for this historic event. The President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI, Sandeep Marwah, also Chair for Indo Vietnam Film and Cultural Forum, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the invitation and the opportunity to participate in this program, further enhancing the relationship between India and Vietnam.
The MOU paves the way for joint efforts and initiatives to showcase and celebrate the cultural diversity and heritage of India and Vietnam. It sets a platform for artists, performers, and creative professionals from both countries to collaborate, exchange ideas, and contribute to the growth and appreciation of art and culture.
H.E. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam in India, Nepal and Bhutan, during the event, emphasized the importance of cultural exchange in strengthening bilateral ties and fostering goodwill between the two nations. He lauded the initiative taken by ICMEI and the State of Lao Cai, highlighting the immense potential for cultural cooperation and the positive impact it will have on the people of India and Vietnam.
Through this collaboration, art exhibitions, cultural festivals, film festivals, workshops, and various other events will be organized to showcase the unique traditions, customs, and artistic expressions of both countries. This exchange will undoubtedly lead to a deeper understanding and appreciation of each other’s cultural heritage, enriching the lives of citizens from both nations.
