International Menstrual Hygiene Day Observed on 28th May

New Delhi: Maayaa Sanitary Pad was launched by Naari Shakti Ko Pranam organization on 28^th May as an employment opportunity especially for covid effected females by Hema Malini Member Parliament in the capacity of Chief Guest of the day.

“The lack of education and knowledge about menstrual hygiene is because of the illiteracy, old traditions, old culture, old myths, lack of facilities at home and educational centers, introvert students, parents and teachers, lack of cooperation which do exists even now in underdeveloped and developing nations,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios in a webinar organized by Ashwani Choudhary of Brij Bhoomi Foundation on International Menstrual Hygiene Day.

“We have been propagating about the subject without fail as lack of knowledge has led to deaths and many serious ailments in women. Radio Noida 107.4Fm, Radio Raipur and MSTV continuously talking about this problem to cover all sort of audience all over India. We are supporters to all those NGOs and other social organizations who have taken this serious job as their mission,” added Dr Marwah thanking the organizers.

“I appreciate that we have people like Dr. Marwah and Ashwani Choudhary who have been taking these kinds of problems sincerely and creating awareness all over the places. We need more volunteers to come forward and eradicate this setback as soon as possible. The biggest problem is the lack of facilities, the availability of material should be close to the door which it is not,” added Hema Malini patron to Brij Bhoomi Foundation.

The ladies from all over India joined the webinar. State President Sazia of Madya Pradesh, Dr Nidhi Singh Tak from Rajasthan, Rajni Sikri of Delhi Harpreet Nanda of Uttar Pradesh, Reshu Agarwal from Maharashtra expressed their views. Mahesh Khandelwal, Babita Chauhan, Gaurav Gupta and Deshbandhu Gupta were also present there. Ashwani Choudhary extended vote of thanks to the guest for their cooperation.
