‘MR AND MISS FRESHER-2001’ COMPETTION

Asian Academy of Film & Television, publisher of the monthly magazine – Star Yatra and Admark Agencies had jointly organised an interesting event to make the young boys and girls aware of the importance of physical exercises, balanced diet and logical daily routine for a healthy body and sound mind. Students of the first year class of the colleges located in the national capital region were eligible to participate in this event which was held at the Pragati Maidan’sHansdhwani Theatre. A team of social and media personalities headed by Prof. Sandeep Marwah adjudged about thirty out of over two thousand contestants under various categories as worthy of commendation. The winners of Mr. and Miss Fresher-2001 event were later handed over certificates in a glittering ceremony held at Marwah Studios. Hindustan Lever and Nestle groups also gifted some of their popular products to the award winners. Speaking on this occasion the senior journalist Aziz Burney described physical charm and healthy body as a gift from God. However, he added that their maintenance requires due attention and care. Concluding the function Prof. Sandeep Marwah congratulated the award winners and hoped that the next events in this series would be organised within the next one year
