National Day of Bahamas Celebrated at ICMEI

New Delhi: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry celebrated the National Day of Bahamas in a joint meeting on the Web and congratulated the Consul General Ashish Saraf and the people of Bahamas on this auspicious day.

“I on behalf of ICMEI and media and entertainment industry of India extend my heartiest congratulations to Ashish Saraf the first ever Honorary Consul of The Commonwealth of Bahama in India and the people of Bahamas on the National day which falls on 10^th July. India and Bahamas have a strong ties and I wish a very durable cultural and business relations between the two countries,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chair for Indo Bahamas Film And Cultural Forum.

Bahamas is a beautiful place to visit said Dr. Marwah recollecting his last visit to Bahamas many years back with popular Indian bollywood stars. A discussion was on with the good office of Consul General as to how more cultural activities can be planned after pandemic is over. A festival of films from Bahamas is now under pipeline after delivering a scholarship to the deserving student from Bahamas to study cinema in AAFT University in India.
