National Day of Peru Celebrated in A Cultural Environment

New Delhi: “Economic relations between the two countries India and Peru began to grow significantly in the 1990s, fueled by India’s technological and economic growth and Peru’s desire to increase its presence in Asia. Indian interest in Peru increased as the latter witnessed fast economic growth and rapid industrialization, becoming one of the fastest growing countries in Latin America,” said C.R.Choudhary Union Minister for State Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India while lighting the ceremonial lamp on the National Day of Peru at Peru Art Gallery.

“Art and Culture can bing in bigger and faster results in bringing people of two countries together. The formation of Indo Peru Film And Cultural Forum, Presentation of Scholarship for learning cinema in India and Festival of Peru Films are some of the actions taken by us in association with Embassy of Peru in India,” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Chair for Indo Peru Cultural Forum.

“I extend my heartiest thanks to each and every one who all have joined us on this auspicious occasion and have been a part of our success journey of relationship,” thanked H.E. Jorge Castaneda Ambassador of Peru to India.
