New Delhi, August 15, 2026: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media & Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), extended his warm greetings and congratulations to H.E. Lee Seong Ho, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, and the people of South Korea on the occasion of National Liberation Day of Korea, Gwangbokjeol.

Dr. Marwah highlighted the important role of the Indo-South Korea Film and Cultural Forum of ICMEI, which provides a platform for promoting cultural exchange and people-to-people relations between the two nations through cinema, art, culture, media, and entertainment.

“Cinema and culture are among the strongest bridges connecting nations. The Indo-South Korea Film and Cultural Forum is committed to creating more opportunities for collaboration and interaction between the creative communities of India and South Korea. Together, we can further strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between our two great nations,” Dr. Marwah added.

He expressed confidence that the growing partnership between India and South Korea would open new avenues for collaboration in film, television, digital media, education, tourism, fashion, and other creative sectors. Dr. Marwah reiterated ICMEI’s commitment to promoting international friendship, cultural diplomacy, and global cooperation through art and culture.
