Kolkata, India – In a prestigious recognition of his immense contributions to the global media and entertainment industry, Dr. Sandeep Marwah was honored as the Global Chair for Media & Entertainment at the World Leader Summit, held in Kolkata. The honor was presented by Arijit Bhattacharya, celebrating Dr. Marwah’s visionary leadership and unparalleled impact on the industry.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, a nine-time world record holder, is a pioneer in media, cinema, and education. He is the Founder of Noida Film City, which has transformed into a thriving hub for the film and television industry. As the Founder-President of Marwah Studios, North India’s first professional film studio, he has played a crucial role in shaping the entertainment landscape. Additionally, he serves as the Chancellor of AAFT University, India’s first university dedicated to film, television, and media studies, based in Raipur.

Dr. Marwah is also the President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI)—the only global chamber exclusively representing the media and entertainment (M&E) sector, working towards industry growth, international collaborations, and knowledge exchange.
