New Delhi: “Never before this kind of amalgamation of media and sports has taken place when Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studio covered Queen’s Baton Relay of 19th Commonwealth games at New Delhi” citiation read by S.S.Dogra Senior Vice President of India Sports Sang at Talkatro Stadium with almost 4000 sports person attending national seminar on sports. “10000 pictures, 1000 hours of filming, 102 short films and 102 radio programs for daily broadcast in 102 days by covering 28 states, 5 union territories, 300 events, 900 cities, 20000 Km created a World Record for Sandeep Marwah. The opening film of CWG for 3 minutes was also produced and directed by Marwah Studio. Sandeep Marwah also ran with the Queen’s Baton on Jaipur –Delhi Road” added Dogra. The President of India Sports Sang Sunil Gupta in the presence of Shyam Jaju Senior Vice President of Bhartiya Janata Party handed over the prestigious National Award of National Sports Federation to Marwah. “The country is proud of you and we look forward for your regular and deep participation in sports” said Sunil Gupta congratulating Marwah. “ Passionate sports person do not wait for others to motivate them, people like Sandeep Marwah are motivational factor for many sports enthusiastics, youngsters must learn from them” added Shyam Jaju addressing large gathering at Talkatra Stadium. “I am indebted to India Sports Sang for recognizing my efforts and sincerity towards sports. Sports are essential ingredient in education. A good health means healthy nation.” Sandeep Marwah addressed the sports persons. “We are already promoting sports through events like Asian Premier Leauge by ASMS, Ethleema by ABS and MCC by AAFT and Indian Sports and Cultural Society where I am the Chairperson” Marwah added.
