Sandeep Marwah Honored for Six Years of Service to Malaysia

Noida: In a heartfelt recognition of his unwavering dedication, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chair of the Indo Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum (IMFCF), was honored by H.E. Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, for his six years of exemplary service in promoting and developing relations between India and Malaysia. The commendation took place during a special ceremony at Marwah Studios in Noida Film City.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been instrumental in fostering cultural and educational exchanges between the two nations, working closely with the High Commission of Malaysia. “It is commendable and appreciable that Dr. Sandeep Marwah, with great enthusiasm and full support of the High Commission of Malaysia, has worked tirelessly for six years in promoting and developing relations between our countries. His efforts must be rewarded,” said H.E. Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa. The High Commissioner presented Dr. Marwah with a certificate of appreciation in a humble function, acknowledging his untiring services to Indo-Malaysia relations.

Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Sandeep Marwah stated, “I am thankful to His Excellency Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa for honoring me. This gesture has encouraged me to do more in the coming days.” Dr. Marwah’s leadership and vision have significantly contributed to the success of numerous cultural initiatives and international collaborations. Amizal Fazli Razali from High Commission of Malaysia was also present there.

Malaysia has been a steadfast partner in various major events organized by Marwah Studios and the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), including the Global Film Festival, Global Fashion Week, Global Literary Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, International Documentary Film Festival, International Festival of Cellphone Cinema, and other international conventions and cultural programs. These events have served as vital platforms for enhancing mutual understanding and cooperation between India and Malaysia.

The Indo Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum was officially announced in 2018 by the then High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid, during the 2nd Global Fashion and Design Week. The forum was established as an integral part of ICMEI, reflecting a commitment to fostering cultural and educational ties between the two nations.
