New Delhi: The eminent film television and media personality Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios honored with Honoris Causa- Doctorate in Literature (Cinema Studies) from University of Macaria, Russia for his tremendous contribution to World of Cinema.

The Degree was presented by Dr. Kirit Premjibhai Solanki, is an Indian Politician and medical practitioner who has been elected Member of Parliament of India for three consecutive terms (15th, 16th and 17th Lok Sabha). He represents the Ahmedabad West constituency of Gujrat and is a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party in a jam packed auditorium at Habitat Centre at New Delhi.

The contribution of Sandeep Marwah starts from Noida Film City (1986), now the fastest growing film city in the World. Marwah Studios (1991)- the first professional film studios of North India, Asian Academy of Film and Television (1993)- the first Private Film School of the Country, International Film and Television Club (1993) the first film events organization, International Film and Television Research Centre (1994)-The First Private Film Research Centre of the Country and hundred more organizations which he has established in the country to promote cinema worldwide.

He is also the President of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, Asian Unity Alliance, World Peace Development and Research Foundation and Chair for Indi Russia Film and Cultural Forum.” I am humbled and thankful to University of Macaria-Russia for motivating me to do more in my field,” said Sandeep Marwah.
