Sandeep Marwah has been in Scouts and NCC during his school and college days. Later he was opted as a special police officer by Delhi Police. He was selected by Lt. Governor of Delhi as the Battalion Commander in Delhi Home Guards- and rose to the level of District Commandant. During his nine-year voluntary services in home guards, he was nominated for the President Award, attended nine  26^th January parades and scored many other achievements. Sandeep Marwah has been nominated as the Chief Scout for India by Scout and Guide Foundation
