Sandeep Marwah Honoured for Promoting Literature and Literary Activities

Noida: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media & Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and Founder of Noida Film City, was honoured by Prof. S. P. Singh Baghel, Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India, and Ramesh Awasthi, Member of Parliament, in recognition of his significant contribution to promoting literature and literary activities through a wide range of initiatives.

The honour was presented on the occasion of the release of the book “The Colors Behind the Rainbow,” authored by Smiridhi Jain, daughter of Dr. Yojna Jain, who is based in Germany. The book launch brought together eminent personalities, writers, academicians, literary enthusiasts and members of the creative community.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah said, “Literature is one of the most powerful mediums of expression and has the unique ability to connect people, cultures and generations. At AAFT and through our various cultural and literary initiatives, we have always encouraged young writers, poets, authors and thinkers to express themselves and contribute to the enrichment of society. The launch of The Colors Behind the Rainbow is a celebration of creativity, imagination and the power of the written word.”

Prof. S. P. Singh Baghel appreciated Dr. Sandeep Marwah for his sustained efforts towards promoting literature, education, art and culture. He said that initiatives which encourage young authors and provide them with platforms to present their work are essential for building a knowledgeable and culturally vibrant society. He congratulated Smiridhi Jain on her literary achievement and wished her continued success.

Ramesh Awasthi, Member of Parliament, also commended Dr. Sandeep Marwah for creating and supporting numerous platforms for literary and cultural expression. He appreciated the efforts behind organising a large number of literary activities, including the Global Literary Festival Noida, described as one of the biggest academic literature festivals in the region, which has brought together writers, scholars, academicians and literary personalities from India and abroad.

Dr. Marwah has been actively associated with the promotion of literature alongside media, education, art and culture. Through AAFT and the International Chamber of Media & Entertainment Industry, he has supported literary festivals, book launches, author interactions, seminars, discussions and other initiatives aimed at encouraging young and emerging literary talent.

The event concluded with congratulations to Smiridhi Jain for her book The Colors Behind the Rainbow and appreciation for the continued contribution of Dr. Sandeep Marwah towards strengthening the literary and cultural ecosystem.
