Sandeep Marwah has been honored with Delhi Ratna State Level Award for bringing the state of Delhi to International Stature once again as citation read in the house full auditorium at India International Centre at new Delhi.
Sandeep Marwah is the Founder of Noida Film City and then there Marwah Studios the first professional film studio of North India churned out 4500 television programs for more than 50 channels 125 feature films in 8 languages, 5000 training films and is the birth place for many channels.
He has been the director of a film school- Asian Academy of Film And Television for now 20 years and have trained 10,000 media professionals hailing from 28 states 6 union territories of India and 90 countries of the World, one of its kind in India.
He is the producer of 1800 short films and has given opportunity to 9000 media professionals including 1800 new directors from 90 countries to direct their debut film under his banner Marwah Films And Video Productions.
He has started seven festivals in the country and AAFT festival of Short films is the only festival in the World which has touched 77th Edition and happens 4 times in a year where 1100 directors have been given place to showcase their debut films .
He is the only film maker who has created World Record during 19th Commonwealth Games, Delhi where a coverage of Queen’s Baton Relay from Wagah Boarder and back to Nehru Stadium was completed in 102 days providing 102 radio programs, 102 ENG programs, 10,000 stills, 1000 hours of filming all covering 28states 6 union territory 300 events 900 cities, 20,000 KM.
