Sandeep Marwah Releases Akash Verma Manav’s Book Self-Solitude – Is Marriage an Experiment. New Delhi: Renowned media personality, educationist and cultural promoter Dr. Sandeep Marwah released the new book Self-Solitude – Is Marriage an Experiment?, authored by Akash Verma Manav, at the prestigious India International Centre, New Delhi.
The book release was organised as a thought-provoking literary gathering and brought together people from the fields of literature, education, media, culture and social discourse. The event was beautifully designed and curated by Seema Saxena of Jashn Events.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah highlighted the enduring importance of books and reading in shaping an informed and thoughtful society. He said, “A good book does not merely provide information; it opens a dialogue between the author and the reader. Books encourage us to question, reflect and look at life from different perspectives. In an age dominated by digital communication, the importance of meaningful books and serious reading remains greater than ever.”
While releasing the book, Dr. Marwah also spoke about the institution of marriage and its changing dimensions in contemporary society. He observed that marriage is not simply a social arrangement but a relationship built on understanding, trust, communication, respect, companionship and shared responsibility.
“Marriage is an important institution, but every relationship is unique. It requires patience, understanding and continuous effort from both partners. The real success of a marriage lies not in perfection, but in the ability of two individuals to understand, respect and support each other through the different phases of life,” said Dr. Marwah.
He appreciated Akash Verma Manav for choosing a subject that invites readers to introspect about relationships, individual identity, companionship and the meaning of solitude. He said that the title itself raises important questions and encourages readers to engage with the subject rather than accept conventional ideas without reflection.
Akash Verma Manav, while speaking about his book, shared the thought behind Self-Solitude – Is Marriage an Experiment? and expressed gratitude to Dr. Sandeep Marwah for releasing the book and encouraging literary and intellectual dialogue.
The gathering concluded with an engaging exchange of ideas on books, relationships, marriage and contemporary social values, making the launch a meaningful literary occasion at India International Centre.
