“Films and media can do a lot to popularize cooperative movement in the country and can create a new wave of awareness in this segment of society” said Dr. Dinesh Chief Executive of National Cooperative Union of India the Apex body of the country.
Introducing the subject of cooperatives to the large film, TV and media audience Sandeep Marwah President of GFFN said, ”We can do wonders together, many media companies can be formed under cooperatives and business can be raised from the market. Some day film business can be like Amul too.”
Kamna Kashyap Deputy Director Cooperation Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, Dipti Samaddar Health Cooperator from West Bengal, Dr. Girish Desale Youth Scientist National Chemical Laboratory, Government of India, Savitri Singh Advisor Communications and Gender Programme International Cooperative Alliance, Sudhir Pagar Chairman Nasik District Government Servants Cooperative Bank Ltd. And Chandra kant Patil Kharare Secretary WPDRF Spoke on the subject.
Ram Iqbal Singh Veteran Cooperator and Ex Chairman National Cooperative Consumer Federation gave the presidential address followed by vote of thanks by R.K.Singh. Later Sandeep Marwah honored all the cooperators with the life membership of International Film And Television Club.The programme was designed by World Peace Development And Research Foundation.
