World Habitat Day Observed at Marwah Studios

Noida: “The United Nations designated the first Monday of October of every year as World Habitat Day to reflect on the state of our towns and cities, and on the basic right of all to adequate shelter. The Day is also intended to remind the world that we all have the power and the responsibility to shape the future of our cities and towns,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nation Associations while addressing media students at AAFT University.

“Solutions begin with small steps individuals can take to alter the way our cities function. We must reduce the amount of waste we produce, and, at the same time, start seeing it as a valuable resource that can be re-used and recycled, including for energy.” Message read by Harshvardhan sent by UN Secretary-General António Guterres

Technology has great potential to improve how people work and live, to significantly accelerate efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and address climate change.

They can offer better, cheaper, faster, scalable and easy to use solutions for every-day problems, including waste management.
