Sri Lankan Cuisine Showcased at 10th Global Fashion & Design Week Noida 2026 Noida, India: Adding rich flavors and cultural vibrancy to the 10th Global Fashion & Design Week Noida 2026, an exclusive presentation of traditional Sri Lankan cuisine was organized by the AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

The culinary showcase was inaugurated by the Deputy Head of the Embassy of Sri Lanka, in the esteemed presence of Nirosha Herath, Minister Counsellor, High Commission of Sri Lanka, and Thilina Galappatti, Second Secretary, High Commission of Sri Lanka, bringing an authentic international essence to the grand celebration.

The event highlighted a wide array of Sri Lankan delicacies, offering guests a unique opportunity to experience the island nation’s rich culinary heritage. The presentation reflected the diversity, aroma, and traditional cooking techniques that define Sri Lankan cuisine, making it a major attraction of the festival.

Addressing the gathering, Sandeep Marwah, President of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and AAFT, emphasized the importance of culinary arts in cultural exchange. He stated that food is one of the most powerful mediums to connect people across borders and such initiatives strengthen international relations through shared experiences.

Speaking on the occasion, Nirosha Herath, Minister Counsellor, High Commission of Sri Lanka, expressed her appreciation for the platform and the effort to showcase Sri Lankan culture. She highlighted that cuisine is an integral part of a nation’s identity and appreciated AAFT for presenting it so beautifully on an international stage.
