The film industry based in Netherlands is relatively small, and there is a little international market for Dutch films, almost all films rely on state funding. This funding can be achieved through several sources, for instance through the Netherlands Film Fund or the public broadcast networks. In recent years the Dutch Government has established several tax shelters for private investments in Dutch films.
In 2000 the total revenue coming from box office results in the Netherlands was €128.5 million; Dutch films had a share of 5.5%, which is €7.1 million. In 2006 the total revenue was €155.9 million; Dutch films had a share of 11.5%, which is €17.4 million.
Talking to the film persons in Amsterdam, Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios offered joint venture for production of documentaries and short film in India.” Dutch directors can be with us their script and we will provide them complete infrastructure for film making” Marwah said enthusiastically.
Marwah Studios is the biggest film making network of North India and producers of largest number of short films in the World.
Marwah Studios has given 10 best film festivals to the nation. These festivals have attained international stature and created international records with time. “Film Festivals are the best windows to show Cinema “ Sandeep Marwah invited Indu Srikent to join IFTC as advisor.
Indu Shrikent graduated with a major in English literature. In 1993, she joined Cinemaya,The Asian Film Quarterly, a journal devoted to Asian cinema, where she became deputy editor. One of the founder members of NETPAC India, Indu Shrikent promoted Asian cinema extensively in India by organizing film appreciation courses, screenplay workshops, and film weeks on Asian countries culminating in 1999 with the launch of the Cinefan Festival in New Delhi.
Indu Shrikent has been co-director of the Cinefan Film Festival since its inception in 1999 and has contributed to the steady growth of the festival. At present she is the Festival Director of Osian’s Cinefan Film Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema.

“World Environment Day (WED) is the United Nations’ principal vehicle for encouraging worldwide awareness and action for the environment.” Said Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development & Research Foundation and Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations in a grand function at Noida.
“Over the years it has grown to be a broad, global platform for public outreach that is widely celebrated by stakeholders in over 100 countries. It also serves as the ‘people’s day’ for doing something positive for the environment, galvanizing individual actions into a collective power that generates an exponential positive impact on the planet” added Marwah.
Later Sandeep Marwah installed plants to mark respect to Mother Earth along with the members of the resident associations of different sectors of Noida.
“Planet Earth is our shared island, let us join forces to protect it.”
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon at the launch of the 2014 International Year of Small Islands and Developing States.
An organization of more than 3000 journalist based in Delhi under the oldest association called Press Club of India honored Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Society of Film And Television for his untiring contribution to media and social activities.
The Press Club of India is already a half century old and is going great. It was formed way back in 1958 largely at the initiative of a few editors in the capital of the country. It is a tribute to their vision and their faith in fellow journalists that the old lady of Raisina Road is still there and, what’s more, doing well. But the unique feature of the club is that it represents the entire country not cities as the press clubs all over the globe do.
The senior journalists and members of the management committee including Komal Sharma, Vijay Shanker, Nadeem Kazmi and Sanjay Singh handed over PCI award to Sandeep Marwah.
“I am pleased to be now part of the family of journalism. The award has encouraged me to do more for the betterment of my nation” said Sandeep Marwah enthusiastically.
